Zhejiang University & Sanhua Scientific Forum Successfully Held

On May 11, Zhejiang University-Sanhua Technology Forum was held in the Qizhen Hotel of Zhejiang University. Sanhua Holding Group’s Board Chairman Zhang Daocai, Vice Chairman Zhang Yabo, and more than 70 technical, market, and management experts from each business unit participated in the forum. Nearly 30 professors and department leaders from seven relevant Schools and Institutes of Zhejiang University attended the forum.

The forum was held on the theme of "Key Technologies and Future Development Trends in the Context of Carbon Neutrality".

Zhejiang University Vice President Wang Lizhong first gave a speech. He stated that universities should make greater contributions to scientific and technological progress as well as the economic and social development. Under the guidance of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goal, there is a lot of room for cooperation between the two sides, and by choosing the right fields and projects, Zhejiang University and Sanhua will complement each other's advantages to promote better development.

Then Vice Chairman Zhang Yabo gave a speech. He said that Sanhua is committed to becoming a company that advocates technology, s value for customers, and provides employees with career development. Sanhua attaches great importance to this exchange. He hoped Sanhua colleagues can better broaden their horizons, then focus on own professional field, looking for projects that can be cooperated to help achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

Seven professors from Zhejiang University gave scientific and technological reports in related fields by turns, closely following the key technologies and future development trends in the context of carbon neutrality, bringing everyone a "science and technology feast".

Followed was the roundtable dialogue session. The theme of the dialogue is "Technical Development Opportunities and Challenges in the Context of Carbon Neutrality and Carbon Peaking" and "In-depth integration of industry-university-research cooperation and collaborative innovation".

In the roundtable, Mr. Zhang stated that he was greatly enlightened and impressed by the reports and exchanges from this forum. He invited the professors to Sanhua Industrial Park for guidance. He said Sanhua has many typical application scenarios in terms of intelligent manufacturing exploration, which can provide a typical case for related research of Zhejiang University. He emphasized each business unit should pay close attention to local policies under carbon neutrality.
