Pursuing Excellence and Encouraging Innovation — — 2024 Xia Anshi Scholarship SANHUA Award Ceremony has Successfully Ended

On April 13, the 28th Xia Anshi Scholarship SANHUA Award Ceremony was held in Sanhua Hangzhou Industrial Park. A total of 13 undergraduates, 4 postgraduates and 1 teacher from 13 well-known universities in China were awarded the “Excellent Student Award” and “Outstanding Professor Award” respectively.?

01 Award Ceremony

Professor Wang Ruzhu, Supervisor of Shanghai Refrigeration Society, Director of Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of Xia Anshi Education Foundation, Mr. Zheng Jiandong, President of Shanghai Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, Professor Gu Anzhong, Winner of the Sixth Xia Anshi Outstanding Professor Award, and Ms. Xia Yangling, daughter of Professor Xia Anshi, and Dr. Zhang Rongrong, Vice General Manager of Sanhua Automotive, Dr. Zou Jiang, Zhang Juan, Vice Minister of Human Resources Department of Sanhua Intelligent Control, and more than 50 leaders, professors, award-winning teachers, students and other guests from Shanghai Refrigeration Society, Shanghai Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Zhejiang University attended the award ceremony.?

At the award ceremony, Professor Wang Ruzhu of Shanghai Jiao Tong University reviewed the establishment and development of the Xia Anshi Scholarship, and further elaborated the cooperation with Sanhua, which is a story of mutual benefit and win-win situation to jointly promote the development of refrigeration science and technology. He pointed out that with its outstanding technical strength and international influence, Sanhua has been successfully promoted to the leading brand in the global refrigeration industry. He encouraged everyone to actively innovate and forge ahead on such a platform, constantly deepen their understanding of the refrigeration industry, and promote the scientific and technological progress of China’s refrigeration industry with practical actions.?

This year, the host of the Xia Anshi Scholarship invited the participating students to Sanhua Hangzhou Industrial Park for on-site contest, exchange, and interaction, and organized the students to go to the West Lake for a spring outing to enjoy the beautiful spring scenery of Hangzhou, which is known as an entrepreneurial city, comfortable city and cultural city.?

02 Contest and Evaluation

25 students majoring in refrigeration from well-known universities in China conducted on-site presentation in turn, demonstrating their academic research achievements and practice in the field of refrigeration, energy and power engineering and other related fields. After strict selection and competition, 17 winners were finally selected.?

03 Activity and Exchange?

To enhance mutual understanding, on April 12, the winners of the 28th Xia Anshi Scholarship Sanhua Award were invited to Sanhua Hangzhou Industrial Park to carry out a series of activities, such as ice-breaking games, visits to Sanhua Exhibition Hall and Sanhua Automotive Production Workshop.?

In the interactive exchange, Tao Chunxing, Sanhua Intelligent Control’s human resources director, welcomed students. Director Tao pointed out that Xia Anshi Scholarship was initiated by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has a long history with Sanhua. In the process of development, Sanhua always firmly believes in the concept of “enterprise is the tree, talent is the root”, and actively absorbs and cultivates talents. Sanhua’s products occupy a leading position in many fields and market segments around the world, and this achievement cannot be separated from the company’s continuous introduction and training of talents. Mr. Tao wishes all the students to achieve excellent results in the contest and evaluation and hopes that they can have a deeper understanding of Sanhua during the event.?

Dr. Wu Yungang, head of Sanhua R&D Division, reviewed the history of Sanhua’s entrepreneurship and said that Sanhua is an enterprise pursuing technology, and every step of Sanhua is at the forefront of the industry. In the field of new energy vehicle’s air conditioning and thermal management system, Sanhua has continuously carried out strategic research and development and breakthroughs, while continuing to innovate in the main industry of refrigeration and air conditioning and has successfully expanded new businesses. Dr. Wu said that he welcomed all students to join the research and development and practice of different programs initiated by Sanhua and encouraged them to contribute to the development and innovation of the refrigeration industry.?
